August Hall of Fame Resident of the Month

Congratulations to the 2021 August Hall of Fame Resident of the Month - Mitch O'Hara!

I have been a Seven Hills resident since 2017 when my fiancé, Georgia Kostyack, and I moved into what was her grandpa’s house. We love taking our dogs for walks throughout the city and traveling to the various beautiful parks. In the past, I worked for the Seven Hills Parks Department through the recreation center, and I now serve on the Seven Hills Parks Committee. Growing up, I started playing football at a young age and attended St. Edward High School. I played inside linebacker, won two State Championships, and was a two-time team captain while being a part of the National Honors Society. After St. Ed’s I continued my football career at the University of Mount Union and graduated Magna Cum Lade this past May with a major in Exercise Science, and a triple minor in Neuroscience, Biology, and Chemistry. I was also involved in a variety of academic clubs and served as a science tutor for the university. Some of my accomplishments at Mount Union included:

- Started in all 15 games as a freshman: 2017
- Won a National Championship: 2017
- Team leader in tackles: 2018/2019
- National Campion Runner-Up: 2019
- Academic All-Conference: 2017,2018,2019
- Second Team All-Conference: 2018/2019
- Team Captain: 2018
- Clyde Lamb Award Winner
- Academic All-American

I currently am doing medical research at Northeast Ohio Medical University and plan on attending medical school. Being a part of the Seven Hills community has been great so far, and Georgia and I cannot wait raise our family in this wonderful city after our marriage in October!
