    • A 2’ variance to Ordinance No. 997.02, Construction Regulations, to allow the installation of an 8’ high proposed chain link fence along the back and easterly and southernly sides of the garden. (Ord. currently prohibits fencing to exceed six feet above grade level of the lot)

       

                  360 E. Hillsdale Avenue, Joe Pavlovic

    • A 12’ variance to Ordinance No. 997.03(a) Obstruction to view, to allow the proposed fence to extend 12ft. past the rear building line. (Ord. currently prohibits a fence to extend forward of the rear building line and past the rear building line if a side door is present.)

       

                  7844 Elmhurst Drive, Craig Peterjohn

    • Variances to Ordinances 963.02(a)(1)(3) Accessory Buildings or Uses, 987.02 Exceptions, 993.01(b) Residence Districts, Rear yards, 1106.02(a)(c) Driveway Construction, to allow for a proposed new1800 sq ft detached garage 16’5” in height, 75’ from the rear yard lot line with the new access drive 2’ off the side yard lot line and transitioning from a concrete drive to crushed stone at 188.65’ from the front lot line.(Ordinances allow for one either unattached or attached garage per lot; not more than 800 square feet; not more than 15’ in height; no nearer than five ft from the side yard lot lines; driveways for new dwelling constructed in the city shall be Portland cement concrete or brick pavers equal or greater strength; driveways, turnarounds and parking areas whether new or replacement shall not be nearer than 5 ft to any lot line on lots with greater than 40ft frontage.)

    • Variances to Ordinances 963.02(b)(1) Accessory Buildings or Uses, 1106.02(a)(c)(d) Driveway Construction, 1106.03(1)(5)(6) Concrete Usage; Quality, 1143.08(a)(1)(b)(1) Parking of Recreational Vehicles and Trailers, to allow for a new proposed storage shed to be located 31’ from the side lot line and the proposed new driveway, driveway apron and parking pad to be a “hard surface” with the proposed location of the new driveway and parking pad 2’ from the side lot line to allow a 31’ recreation vehicle to be parked on the proposed new parking pad. (Ordinances allow a shed to be no further than 10’ from the side lot; new driveway, driveway apron and parking pad to be constructed of concrete or brick pavers of equal strength and driveway aprons of concrete; the new driveway and parking pad are required to be 5’ distance from a side lot line; the maximum length of a Recreation Vehicle that can be stored in a First Residence District is limited to 24 feet in total length.)
