Flu Vaccinations
Each influenza season, the City of Seven Hills offers the opportunity for residents to come to City Hall to receive their vaccinations. The City Wide Community Newsletter will provide specific instructions on date of clinic, how to register for an appointment time and the updated prices. Please follow the instructions and return applications by the deadline to ensure participation.
In order to facilitate a smooth program for all of the residents there are a few guidelines that have to be followed. Not everyone is eligible for a free flu shot. Eligibility requirements are determined by your insurance care provider.
If you belong to a Senior or Medicare HMO and don't have Medicare Part B as your PRIMARY insurance, you can still receive the vaccination, but you must pay for it. We will not turn anyone away who wants to receive a vaccination, but we do encourage those who have a Senior or Medicare HMO and/or non seniors to set appointments with their doctor's office or a fee will be charged.
Clinic is typically held at Seven Hills City Hall Community Room. After postcard (included in the newsletter) is returned, a representative will be contacting residents to set up appointment times. It is very important that residents adhere to appointment times, and do not come more than 5 minutes early. People who do not follow the appointment schedule cause problems with overloaded volunteers and vaccine administrators. And finally please ensure all information is printed and legible, this will insure that every form received can be processed.
