Fall Fest and Chili Cook-Off / Craft Fair
Sunday, October 3rd from 1-4pm - come on up to the Recreation Center for some great family fun! Craft Fair and Chili Cook Off in the Gyms, Browns on the BIG SCREEN, Corn Hole on the front lawn and hay rides, games and crafts for the kids! Admission is free for everyone!
VFW Christmas Party
Sunday, December 5th - Kick off your Holiday Season by joining the City of Seven Hills and our families to celebrate our Christmas Party! Hosted by the VFW, the Recreation Department and the City of Seven Hills, you can find kids crafts, swimming, Sparky the Fire Dog, lots of Christmas Characters and of course, the man himself, Santa! Mayor Bentkowski reads a favorite Christmas story to kids and area choirs perform in the Gyms. Please bring your family to celebrate with ours - it's free!
Home Days
Seven Hills' Annual Home Days Celebration kicks off July 23rd on the grounds behind City Hall! Come for the weekend - enjoy free fireworks on Friday the 23rd and Saturday the 24th! Enjoy food, prizes, family, music and fun right here in your own back yard! Bring the kids - Sunday the 25th is Kids Day with clowns, magic, balloon fun and more! The Recreation Department offers great tournaments like 3-on-3 Basketball, 4-on-4 Volleyball, Corn Hole and Ping Pong! Each tourney has great prizes and great fun! Register at the Recreation Center today!
Senior Health & Fitness Month / Health Fair
Each May, we celebrate our Senior Community by offering free breakfast, a speaker, an activity and entertainment. These FREE days are offered every Wednesday throughout the month of May. On the last Wednesday of the month, the Recreation Department, along with the city of Seven Hills and Mount Alverna Village hosts our Annual Health Day / Senior Health and Fitness Day. This event invites hundreds of vendors, speakers and educators to the Recreation Center to educate our Seniors on the benefits of good health. Bring your family and friends - its FREE!
Memorial Day Parade
The Seven Hills Memorial Day Parade kicks off on Monday, May 31st at 10:30am. The parade route runs from St. Columbkille Church and School on Broadview Road up to Hillside Road and to the front of City Hall. Come watch Normandy High School Band, the Seven Hills Police and Fire Departments march thru the streets of our beautiful city! Don't forget - the Recreation Center staff hands out popsicles along the route! At City Hall, Mayor David Bentkowski, Members of the VFW, Normandy High School Band and area clergy come together to host a wreath ceremony and memorial tribute. All are welcome and encouraged to attend!
Baseball Federation Opening Day Celebration
Saturday, May 29th from 1pm - 4pm at Calvin Park, the City hosts an Opening Day Celebration for the Seven Hills Baseball Federation. Events include a dunk tank, Pitch-Hit & Run Contest, bouncy-houses, live music and of course a visit from Cleveland's own Slider! Free to all!
American Red Cross Blood Drives
Give Blood - The Gift of Life. The American Red Cross hosts various blood drives right here at the Recreation Center. Do your part and help the American Red Cross. Blood is in short supply in Northeast Ohio!
