City Officials

The city officials of Seven Hills, including the mayor and the City Council, is responsible for the overseeing of all of the city's activities and serve as the keeper of the city's finances. City officals are dedicated to the well being of the community.

About the City Engineer

Mark graduated from Padua Franciscan High School and earned his bachelor's in Civil Engineering at Fenn College of Engineering at Cleveland State University. At Fenn College, he was the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Student Chapter President and he earned awards as ASCE Outstanding Senior of the Year, the CSU Community Service Initiative and the Wolff/Watson Bridge Award. Mark has his master's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Dayton where he was awarded a full scholarship by the Dayton Area Graduate Studies Institute.

During his schoolwork at Fenn College, Mark took advantage of the cooperative education program and gained valuable engineering experience at ODOT - District 12 and The Great Lakes Construction Company. He worked as an engineer/interim regional manager at BBC&M Engineering, Inc. for ten years before becoming the Seven Hills City Engineer in July 2006. Mark also serves the City as the City Arborist and Storm Water Manager. He is a registered professional engineer in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Mark is also a member of ASCE and the Municipal Engineers Association of Northeast Ohio.

Mark is married to Hope and they have three (3) active children Brennon, Gabriel and Corey (Seven Hills 2007 Cutest Toddler Winner). Mark enjoys volunteering at his parent's hunger center, St. Mary's Hospitality House in Parma, Ohio which serves the poor every Tuesday. Interesting Note - In 1993, Mark was a USA Delegate for World Youth Day in Denver, Colorado where he met the late Pope John Paul II.
